Who Am I?

My story begins on the 3rd of July 2003 In Dorchester Hospital when I was born, throughout the years I grew up in Blandford Forum and went to school here and started my first dream of being the next Christiano Ronaldo on the Blandford football fields.

Fast forwarding to the proper start I got 7 GCSEs after being told I was going to fail them all and got rejected into Business GCSE as I “wasn’t good enough” for the course so with my 7 GCSEs I took on a Level 2 course at the same school for 3 Business grades and travel and tourism at GCSE level and I got straight A* so opened up my opportunities to get to where I am now.

I moved on to A levels at a different school doing Double business and IT and after a few hurdles like 5 essays set in the same week due in 2 weeks and a few miscommunications, I came out with a Pass, Merit in business and a Pass in IT and left with the decision of, What next?

I ended up deciding on going into Marketing so I looked around and picked the apprenticeship route and went through the whole 18 months of coding and Marketing fundamentals exam, a long hauled CIM exam and the final portfolio and end point assessment period and ended up passing the course and a Merit in my CIM.

During this time not only was I questioning what I wanted to do but also Who am I through events that I went to like my friend’s baptism I came to know Jesus Christ and this was a pivotal learning point as I am now a practising Christian trying to juggle the life of work, Life in and around Church and my personal brand but I have not regretted one choice and am now rejoicing in the fact I have been blessed with the gift of all this and have Jesus.

During this period I joined You Are The Media Creator Lab, met some lovely people inside it, started a podcast ‘Ground Zero’ and attended and helped at YATM Creator Day.

Now we are in the present I am in a full-time job after my apprenticeship and still in You Are The Media while running my podcast with other stuff in the pipeline.
